History Study Program of Udayana University Participates in Community Service Activity at SMK Werdhi Sila Kumala, Gianyar

The History Study Program of Universitas Udayana reaffirmed its commitment to the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through a Community Service activity held on 22 October 2025 at SMK Werdhi Sila Kumala, Gianyar. This program involved lecturers and students who actively contributed to strengthening students’ capacity through educational activities and mentoring based on historical studies.

During the activity, the team delivered material focused on enhancing historical literacy and local cultural awareness, including the development of critical thinking skills in understanding Balinese history and its relevance for younger generations. Students received insights into the importance of preserving cultural heritage, strengthening local identity, and recognizing the role of history in shaping character and national awareness.

In addition to the presentation, the event featured interactive discussions and a question-and-answer session, providing opportunities for students to express their perspectives and share their experiences related to history learning in schools. The participants showed high enthusiasm, demonstrated through their active involvement and willingness to engage in dialogue.

Through this program, the History Study Program of Universitas Udayana aims to strengthen partnerships between higher education institutions and schools, as well as encourage sustainable collaboration in education, cultural preservation, and human resource development. The activity also served as a platform for students to apply the knowledge gained in their studies to real community contexts.

The school expressed its appreciation for the contribution and presence of the community service team from the History Study Program of Universitas Udayana, noting the significant benefits for students’ knowledge and learning motivation.
