History Study Program Lecturers Appointed as Expert Team for the Study of the Balinese People’s Struggle for Independence

Several lecturers from the History Study Program at Udayana University were appointed as members of the Expert Team for the Study of Historical Events Related to the Balinese People’s Struggle for Independence, based on a Decree of the Governor of Bali issued in 2026. The study, coordinated by the UPTD Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Bali (Bali People’s Struggle Monument), was conducted on June 23–25, 2026.

The lecturers’ involvement as members of the expert team represents the academic contribution of the History Study Program to supporting the preservation, study, and strengthening of the historiography of the Balinese people’s struggle for independence. Through this initiative, it is expected that comprehensive historical studies will be produced, serving as valuable references for the development of historical knowledge and the preservation of the values of the nation’s struggle.
