In his remarks, he appreciated the organizing committee who tried to hold the activity on time. He also encouraged the participants to participate in this activity as well as possible. For him, history is a science that is not only about the past but also actual with the current situation.

The Coordinator of the History Study Program conveyed the same thing in his speech, who hoped that this activity would be useful for History students so that they would be more mature and balanced between the theory in lectures and the reality in the field. The opening was marked by the symbolic draping of name tags by the Vice Dean III of FIB Unud to the representative of the participants accompanied by the Coordinator of the History Study Program, the Head of KEMAS, and the head of the committee.

The opening ceremony was continued with a public lecture from Dr. Amrita Nugraheni Saraswaty, S.E., M.Sc., which was guided by moderator I Kadek Surya Jayadi, S.S., M.A. The speaker is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. He is an academic who is widely involved in research related to water. The research is in line with the theme of this year's Historical Site Visit, namely 'Amertha Masa'. The doctor who graduated from Brawijaya University, Malang explained how water is a resource that must be viewed from a multidimensional, interdisciplinary perspective. "Water is not just a resource. But it is related to many dimensions, starting from religious aspects, culture, to power relations." He admitted that in his research related to water, it cannot be separated from the historical dimension which increasingly strengthens understanding in viewing water issues.

Dr. Amrita's presentation, related to the presentation of the second material delivered by Prof. Dr. Drs.I Putu Gede Suwitha, S.U. who is a professor of Historical Science in the field of Maritime History. For him, the history of Balinese civilization cannot be separated from water and its flow then forms the patterns of Balinese culture. The flexible nature of water is also evident in contemporary Balinese culture which always adapts to all its challenges. In his presentation which was moderated by Putu Dyah Pradnya Paramitha, S.S., M.A., his concern was clearly apparent that Bali needs to be serious in managing water. For him, it is very necessary to encourage in the smallest environment of Balinese households to create rainwater reservoirs.

The opening ceremony of the Historical Site Visit will be continued tomorrow by visiting historical sites in Kenderan Village, including: Telaga Waja Temple, Griya Sakti Manuaba Temple, Kenderan Palace, and the I Dewa Nyoman Oka Hero Monument. The hope that arises from this activity is certainly to be able to imitate the nature of water that continues to flow from upstream to downstream. Likewise, the History Science of FIB Unud which hopefully can continue to develop and flow historical knowledge that is enlightening and intelligent.
