Historical Week 2022

In connection with the implementation of the 2022 Historical Week activities by the Student Association of History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University with the theme "Bhavana Ing Asa" which contains competitions and exhibitions in September-November 2022, on October 14, 2022, the opening of the 2022 Historical Week was held, on October 29, 2022, the 2022 Historical Week Exhibition was held and on November 02, 2022, the closing of the 2022 Historical Week was held. The purpose of holding this Historical Week activity is so that all elements of society who take part in the series of Historical Week activities get experience and knowledge about history in various forms because history is not only about the past, but also the present and future. 

October 14, 2022 : Historical Week Opening 2022

The opening is carried out by the Master of Ceremony (MC) on duty. The event was then continued with prayers led by officers, then singing the song Indonesia Raya. After the singing of the song Indonesia Raya, the invited guests were presented with a traditional Balinese dance called Panyembrama Dance by two students of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. The event was then continued with remarks from the Chief Executive of the 2022 Historical Week activities. The second speech was delivered by the Head of the Student Association of the History Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. Then the third speech was delivered by the Coordinator of the History Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, which was then continued with the opening of a series of activities for the 2022 Historical Week symbolically with the beating of Gong accompanied by the Chief Executive of Historical Week, Chairman of the History Science Student Association, and Lecturers of the History Study Program. The next event was a group photo with all invited guests and the entire committee at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University. After the group photo of the event was then closed by the MC on duty and all invited guests were welcome to leave the venue. 


October 29, 2022 : Historical Week Exhibition 2022

The exhibition with the theme "Press From Time to Time" in collaboration with the Academic Press of Udayana University and Bali Post, started at 14.00 WITA at Sroja Coffe Renon. Some of the items displayed in the exhibition are magazines from the Udayana University Academic Press in the early edition until 2022, newspapers published by Pers Akademika, newspapers published by Bali Post, Typewriters in the Bali Post collection, documentation about the Bali 1 bombing incident, Indonesian press figures, to past press products. Then at 16.00 the event continued with a mini talk show with the theme "Reviewing the Press from the Past to the Present" which was guided by Riski Bagas, History Student as moderator and Gede Iyan Merta Rustanaya, Head of Academic Press at Udayana University as a Speaker in the mini talk show.  The mini talk show was accompanied by a discussion that was enthusiastically welcomed by the mini talkshow participants by asking questions about the Press both in general and the Press within the scope of the University. After the mini talk show was completed, the event continued with Stand Up comedy presented by a History Student named Abdul Rifho Mardiansyah. After that, the live music event was enlivened by several bands from Udayana University students, such as The Pickles which consisted of Students of the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University from several Study Programs, (the name of the band was Jostar), and Dadia Laksana and Rojih Dzakwan who were representatives of History Students. The exhibition event ended at 22.00 WITA which was closed with a thank you by representatives of the Committee.


November 02, 2022 : Historical Week 2022 Closing

The closing of the Historical Week was held at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University at 09.30 WITA which was opened by the Master of Ceremony (MC) on duty. The event was then continued with prayers led by officers, then singing the song Indonesia Raya. After the singing of the song Indonesia Raya, followed by remarks from the Chief Executive of the 2022 Historical Week activities. The second speech was delivered by the Head of the Student Association of the History Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. Then the third speech was delivered by the Coordinator of the History Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. The event continued with a performance from the Bumantara Band from Indonesian Literature students of Udayana University who performed three songs. After that, the event continued with the reading of the winners of the Historical Week competition starting from the Essay, Poster, and finally Photography competitions which were followed by the presentation of competition prizes from the Coordinator of the History Study Program to the Coordinator of the Sie Competition accompanied by the Chairman of the Historical Science Student Association and the Chairman of the Historical Week Committee. The next event was the cutting of tumpeng carried out by the Coordinator of the History Study Program at Udayana University which was then handed over to the Student Chair of History. After the cutting of the tumpeng the event was then closed by the MC on duty and the attendees were welcome to leave the venue.
